Wine Icon to Be Elevated With Highest Honor

Robert Pellegrini, veteran Sonoma wine maker and icon will be honored at the prestigious Sutter Club, 1220 Ninth Street, Sacramento, California, at five o'clock sharp on Saturday, September 19, 2009.

Mr. Pelligrini will be elevated to Supreme Knight, the highest honor in The Brotherhood of the Knights of The Vine, an international wine brotherhood, with roots dating back to the 13th century and a founding member of the F.I.C.B , The International Federation of Wine Brotherhoods, (Fédération Internationale des Confréries Bachiques).

Mr. Pellegrini will join other legends in the wine industry who have received this honor, including James E. Coleman of Gallo Sonoma, John A. Parducci, Rodney Strong, Robert A. Young and the late Mr. Robert Mondavi.

Reservations are limited to 150 persons and deadline for R.S.V.P is September 8, 2009

Mr. Pellegrini, veteran Sonoma wine maker, honors his Tuscan heritage by incorporating wine as an integral part of a meal and takes pride in being associated with the California wine industry for three generations.
